The sins of Las Vegas finally take their toll on the team in Season Eight with the CSI team desperately searching for the miniature killer’s latest victim – Sara Sidle. Although Natalie, the killer, is in custody, the only clues to Sara’s whereabouts lie in the desert miniature Natalie delivered personally to Grissom at the close of Season Seven. While her CSI teammates do everything to find her, Sara uses her survival skills to free herself from the car which she is pinned under and ends up lost in the cruel, blistering heat of the Nevada desert.
